Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners is seeking a Designated Person with responsibility for Investment Management Oversight to oversee real estate investments and related governance. Qualifications

• Strong experience in alternative investments, with a detailed understanding of real estate underwriting, financing and asset lifecycle management.
• Deep knowledge of the Irish AIFM regulatory framework, including AIFMD and CP86.
• Proven ability to interpret financial and investment data and operate effectively at Board and senior management level.
• Sound judgement, independence and confidence providing constructive challenge.
• Capacity to meet the role’s time commitment and availability requirements.
• Experience in renewable energy infrastructure, ELTIFs, QIAIFs or similar fund structures is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a senior regulated role or direct engagement with regulators is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee real estate investment activities across acquisitions, development, asset management and disposals.
• Ensure investment decisions align with approved strategies, fund documentation and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Review and challenge asset performance, valuations, financing structures, leverage and covenant compliance.
• Oversee delegated investment managers, property managers and advisers, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
• Assess portfolio construction, concentration and liquidity risks, escalating emerging issues to the Board.
• Deliver clear Board reporting on investment performance and risks, recommending corrective action where required.
• Support regulatory engagement, inspections, audits and annual Designated Person confirmations.
• Maintain effective governance processes and management information to support oversight and challenge.
