Job summary

KPI RECRUITING LTD is recruiting experienced Reach Truck Drivers for a fast-paced food manufacturing site based in ST5. The role involves working in a freezer environment up to -18°C for parts of shifts. Immediate starts are available with a temp-to-perm path after 12 weeks for suitable candidates.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:00, with PPE provided and full support from the team. Applicants should have a valid Reach Truck licence and a minimum of one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach Truck licence is essential.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a Reach Truck.
• PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) experience/licence preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in freezer temperatures (-18°C).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work set shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Truck safely and efficiently.
• Use PPT when required.
• Transport goods across warehouse and freezer areas.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Pick and move stock accurately.
• Follow health, safety and site procedures.
• Support general warehouse duties when needed.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site based in ST5.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for ongoing, stable work with immediate starts available, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Please note: This role involves working in a freezer environment at temperatures of up to -18°C for a couple of hours a day, therefore the ability to work in these conditions is essential.Full PPE is provided, including thermal jackets and protective clothing suitable for low temperatures

Shift Patterns & Working Days

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday,14:00 to 22:00

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Reach Truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Using a Pedestrian Pallet Truck (PPT) where required
• Transporting goods across warehouse and freezer areas
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking and moving stock accurately
• Following all health & safety and site procedures
• Supporting general warehouse duties when needed

Requirements

• Valid Reach Truck licence – essential
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a Reach Truck – essential
• PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) experience/licence – preferred
• Previous experience in a warehouse or food production environment
• Must be comfortable working in freezer temperatures when needed(-18°C)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work set shift patterns
• Available to start immediately
