Applegreen seeks an experienced Warehouse Forklift Driver / Goods Inward Operative for our Leixlip Distribution Centre. You will manage goods inward, stock control, and replenishment across ambient, chilled, and frozen zones while upholding high safety and efficiency standards.

The role requires valid Reach Truck, Counterbalance forklift, PPT, and Manual Handling licences, with at least two years of warehouse experience. Immediate start for the right candidate in a growing distribution business.

Qualifications

• Two years' warehouse experience, preferably in food/chilled/frozen distribution.
• Licences/certifications for Reach Truck, Counterbalance Forklift, PPT and Manual Handling are required or have been obtained.

Responsabilités

• Unload inbound deliveries using a counterbalance forklift.
• Book stock into the warehouse management system with correct product dates and temperatures.
• Put stock away using VNA and reach truck across ambient, chilled and frozen areas.
• Replenish stock from reserve to picking locations as required.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth daily activity.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and procedures.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Forklift Driver / Goods Inward Operative to join our growing team at our Leixlip Distribution Centre.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, with responsibility for goods inward processing, stock control, replenishment activities, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload inbound deliveries using a counterbalance forklift.
• Accurately book stock into the warehouse management system, ensuring product dates, temperatures, and conditions are correctly recorded.
• Put stock away using VNA and reach truck equipment across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse environments.
• Replenish stock from reserve locations to picking locations as required.
• Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety throughout the warehouse.
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and operational standards.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold valid licences/certification for:
• Reach Truck
• Counterbalance Forklift
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck)
• Manual Handling
• Have a minimum of two years' warehouse experience, ideally within a food, chilled, or frozen distribution environment.
• Be comfortable working across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse areas.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
