Job summary
Connected Health is seeking a Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant to deliver urgent, hands-on care in clients’ homes across Ireland. The role focuses on rapid response, safety, and high-quality care to maintain independence for service users.
The ideal candidate has 1+ year homecare experience, QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care, and a valid driving licence with access to a car. You will work in a fast-paced environment with shift flexibility and opportunities for progression.
Qualifications
- Experience in homecare (1+ year in Ireland)
- QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care required
- Driving licence + car required for client visits
- Calm under pressure essential
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Compassion and empathy essential
- Weekend flexibility required
Responsibilities
- Shadow staff and ensure Health & Safety policies are followed
- Support rapid response, manage new packages and discharges
- Monitor and report on care quality to area manager
- Collect journal notes from client homes
- Deliver Care Plans, logs and gloves to client homes
- Deliver PPE as needed
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required
