Job summary

Connected Health is seeking a Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant to deliver urgent, hands-on care in clients' homes across Ireland. You will support service users who need immediate assistance, step into new care packages, and help ensure people remain safe and independent within their communities.

The role offers a competitive salary (£/€) with a €200 sign-on bonus after 3 months, paid mileage, fortnightly pay, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in homecare (1+ year in Ireland)
• QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care
• Driving licence + car essential due to travel between clients
• Calm under pressure – rapid response is fast-moving
• Strong communication & organisation; notes and reporting

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for staff shadowing and ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Undertake emergency over – rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)
• Evaluate and monitor the quality of care and report concerns to the area manager
• Check and collect journal notes from clients’ houses
• Deliver Care Plans, log sheets and gloves to clients’ homes when required
• Deliver PPE
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required

Key Duties And Responsibilities
