Job summary

Nicholas O’Dwyer is seeking a Site Supervisor - Rail to supervise construction activities on major rail projects. You’ll report to the Construction Manager, coordinate site works, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with contract requirements, drawings, and safety standards.

You will support planning, design, procurement, and completion phases, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a proactive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related discipline.
• Experience supervising rail or major infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with NEC4 contract requirements and construction standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Strong communication, teamwork and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities under senior direction.
• Monitor contractor performance and coordinate site activities.
• Ensure works comply with contract requirements, drawings and safety standards.
• Maintain records, support schedules, and report progress to management.
• Promote a strong site safety culture and undertake inspections.
