Qualifications

• A Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in delivering cost management for projects or projects of comparable complexity and scale.
• Extensive experience supporting cost-management activities within major project environments, enabling the achievement of programme goals and objectives.
• Significant expertise in conceptual project budgeting, construction risk identification, scheduling, project planning, design, and cost estimating across multiple project stages.
• Strong experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders at all organisational levels, influencing process improvements and providing guidance to support effective project delivery and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust cost-management processes for projects.
• Lead budgeting, procurement, and cost control activities.
• Oversee tendering documentation, evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Prepare and present detailed cost reports and variances to senior management.
• Collaborate with Cost Estimating, Scheduling, and other leads to support integrated planning.
• Monitor cost performance and implement mitigation strategies for risks.
• Coach junior team members and drive continuous improvement.
