Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited seeks a Consents Manager to lead the strategy, coordination and delivery of all statutory and regulatory consents for a major rail infrastructure programme. You will embed consent requirements into design, procurement and construction activities while engaging statutory bodies and local authorities.

The role also focuses on governance, risk and transparent reporting to programme leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Planning, Environmental Management, Engineering, Law or related discipline.
• Experience delivering consents on major Irish infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Irish planning legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Established relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Experience managing commitments registers and compliance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead Consents Strategy & Planning to align with programme milestones.
• Embed consent requirements into design development, environmental assessments, and construction planning.
• Manage MoUs with local authorities and statutory bodies.
• Establish and maintain engagement with authorities, consultees and stakeholders.
• Develop governance, risk, and reporting processes for consent status and issues.
