Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited in Ireland is seeking an engineer for the Rack Power Support team to troubleshoot and support large power distributed systems in our data centers. You will be the escalation point for complex issues and work with service owners and hardware design teams to drive reliable power infrastructure.

You will develop SLA, metrics, monitors, procedures, tools, and documentation, participate in design reviews, and help improve the change-management lifecycle alongside

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods.
• Experience in commissioning.
• Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components.
• 3 years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and support massive power distributed systems.
• Escalate complex issues and provide guidance to service owners and hardware design teams.
• Collaborate on hardware issues within the fleet and drive operational efficiency through root cause analysis and monitoring.
• Participate in design reviews to identify and mitigate support risks.
• Improve change management life-cycle with development and QA teams.
