Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a dynamic R&D / Product Development Engineer in Inishowen Municipal District, Burnfoot, Ireland. This role involves defining product specifications, developing designs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards for our busbar trunking product line.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in a design role within the manufacturing sector, a strong background in 3D modelling software, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in design within the manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFE related to product design.
• Experience with power distribution applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define product specifications and develop designs according to standards.
• Create 3D models and 2D drafts for product designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and components.

Skills

3D modelling using Creo or Solidworks

GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

Time management skills

Education
