Job summary

Kilsaran is seeking a proactive R&D assistant in its Naas plant to support raw materials handling, testing and documentation in the laboratory. The role focuses on supporting project trials and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all R&D activities.

The successful candidate will work under the R&D Manager, have opportunities for further education, and contribute to continuous product development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in materials science or a related discipline is an advantage however this is not essential.
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Attainment and management of raw materials in the R&D laboratory.
• Assisting the R&D Manager with project trials.
• Preparation and testing of raw materials and R&D products.
• Documenting of all R&D work and maintaining detailed files in relation to same.
