Job summary

Real is seeking an R&D Analyst to join its Research and Development team in Limerick on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on analytical lab test method development, verification, and validation for a Class III combination product, with GLP compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in analytical lab work, hands-on use of HPLC, Dissolution and GPC, and a strong working knowledge of USP/ICH guidelines. Onsite five days a week, with occasional remote work when projects allow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in analytical lab test method development, verification, and validation.
• Experience in GLP environments.
• Experience in development, verification & validation of analytical test methods for injectables, hydrogel, polymers, etc.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, Dissolution, GPC.
• Troubleshooting HPLC, Dissolution, GPC methods and equipment.
• Development of analytical tests like Karl Fischer, NMR, GC, DSC.
• Knowledge of USP, ICH guidelines for HPLC, Dissolution and other methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical test methods for the product.
• Support GLP-compliant lab activities and documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D in Limerick to advance method development.

Job description

A global medical device company is looking for a R&D Analyst to join their Research and Development team on a contract basis. This role will focus on analytical lab test method development, verification, and validation for a new Class III combination product. Experience is working GLP environment is essential to follow lab & quality procedures. You will need experience with having worked with hydrogels/polymers/injections of liquid/injection materials and analytical testing of the product.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years' experience in analytical lab test method development, verification, and validation.
• Experience is working GLP environment.
• Experience is development, verification & validation of analytical test methods for injectables, hydrogel, polymers etc.
• Hands on Experience is HPLC, Dissolution, GPC etc test method development and validation.
• Experience in trouble shoot issues associated with HPLC, Dissolution, GPC test methods and test equipment
• Experience in development of analytical tests like Karl Fisher, NMR, GC, DSC.
• Experience and deep understanding of USP, ICH guidelines for HPLC, Dissolution and other analytical test methods.

The start date is for ASAP/1st October but we can wait for the right person. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with options to extend after. The role is based in Limerick and will require 5 days onsite per week, there will be times you can work from home/remotely when the project allows. The rate is €35-43 per hour, depending on experience, if you have any expenses please let me know and I can factor that into the rate for you.
