Job summary

Design Build Search is seeking a Quantity Surveyor at Senior or Associate level with a focus on strong MEP or Data Centre project experience. The position offers flexibility in location, with options for hybrid working in Dublin, Cork, or Galway.

The successful candidate will manage the tender process, assist with final accounts, and create cost plans, while benefiting from competitive remuneration between €80-90k, along with excellent perks like pension and healthcare.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' QS or Cost Management experience.
• Chartered status or working towards is preferable.
• Consultancy or client-side experience highly desired.

DesignBuild Search have been engaged by a Global Construction Consultancy as they have a need for a Quantity Surveyor at Senior or Associate level with strong MEP or Data Centre project experience.

Job Description

Can be based in Dublin, Cork, or Galway with flexible hybrid working possible.

• Actively participate in the tender/bid process
• Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
• Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports
• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
