Job summary

Macdonald & Company is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor for Dublin or Galway, offering hybrid working. The role supports a leading PQS / Project Management firm delivering a wide range of projects across Ireland.

You will manage project commercial control from feasibility and pre-costing through to final accounts, prepare cost estimates and BOQs, handle subcontractor procurement, variations, valuations and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• SCSI / RICS Chartered Status (preferred for Senior/Managing roles).
• 2–5 years' experience in main contracting, consultancy, or developer environments.
• Proficiency in digital measurement software and BIM.

Role Title: Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Locations: Dublin / Galway (Hybrid)

Our client is a leading PQS / Project Management firm working on a wide range of projects in Ireland.

They are currently recruiting for a couple of intermediate cost managers / quantity surveyors to join their team based either in Galway or Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subcontractor procurement, variations management, valuations, and monthly reporting.
