Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a civil contractor based in County Kerry. The role involves day-to-day commercial measurement, reporting and managing budgets on allocated projects.

Applicants should have a degree in Quantity Surveying, 2–5 years’ experience, and strong communication/negotiation skills. Location is Kerry with no travel and a permanent contract; a vehicle is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 2-5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor for a Civil Contractor.
• Good knowledge of various forms of contract.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day commercial measurement and reporting across allocated projects.
• Negotiate and obtain the best value with subcontract orders.
• Assist with the management of project budgets.
• Prepare Cost Value Reports.
• Submit Monthly Variations and manage Final Accounts.
