Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd. in Dublin is seeking a Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage construction costs from start to finish. You will prepare budgets, assess material and labour costs, and ensure projects stay within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques and materials.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Preparing budgets and cost plans for construction projects
• Assessing the cost of materials, labour, and other expenses
• Monitoring construction costs and ensuring projects are completed within budget
• Providing advice and guidance on cost-saving measures
• Negotiating contracts and deals with contractors and suppliers
• Preparing and submitting progress reports to Managing QS / Board
• Ensuring that all construction work is completed to the required standards and specifications
• Providing support to project managers and other team members as needed
