Permanent role with substantial work-from-home opportunities. We seek a candidate with civil and structural experience, 3rd level qualification, and over four years with a main contractor or sub-contractor.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification is required.
• Over 4 years' experience with a main contractor or sub-contractor.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and pricing of all variations as and when they occur
• Managing and forecasting the cash flow of the project
• Improve and implement best practice commercial processes and accurate budgeting
• Keep detailed records of all correspondence to be easily retrieved when required.
• Manage procurement process
• Ensure Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual Requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same
• Prepare and agree interim valuations at the agreed dates to gain the best commercial advantage for the company.
• Prepare, and in conjunction with senior management/commercial management the final account with client’s representative.

Our client is a leading International multidisciplined Engineering main contractor with numerous diverse projects all over Ireland. They are heavily involved in pharma, commercial, residential, DC’s and industrial projects.

The require a quantity surveyor with civil and structural experience for works in the west of Ireland based out of Galway but with substantial opportunity to work from home.

Types of projects will include pharma works, substations, power generation and industrial projects.
