BMS Performance Ireland in Dundalk is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team on high-value data centre projects. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager on procurement, cost control, valuations and budgeting.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years’ QS experience in construction or manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to stakeholder management. The role offers excellent progression within a fast-growing modular construction business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 2–5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing or specialist contracting environments.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Good Excel and systems skills; stakeholder management ability.

Responsabilités

• Support project cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Prepare valuations, cost tracking reports and project budgets.
• Manage variation pricing and maintain variation registers.
• Work closely with engineering, production and planning teams to quantify project changes.
• Assist with tender preparation and bid submissions.

THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team and work closely with the Commercial Manager on high-value modular construction projects.

The role offers broad exposure across procurement, cost control, variations, contract administration and commercial management.

• Support project cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting
• Prepare valuations, cost tracking reports and project budgets
• Manage variation pricing and maintain variation registers
• Work closely with engineering, production and planning teams to quantify project changes
• Support procurement activities and supplier negotiations
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Assist with tender preparation and bid submissions
• Support contract administration, commercial correspondence and project reporting

THE PERSON

This role is ideal for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking to develop within a technically advanced manufacturing and construction environment. Candidates from construction, M&E, manufacturing, modular construction, civil engineering or specialist contracting backgrounds will all be considered.

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
• Typically 2-5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
• Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing or specialist contracting environments
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with project costs, budgets and financial reporting
• Good Excel and systems skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
• Ambitious and eager to progress within a growing business

LOCATION
