ALS Limited in Clonmel, Ireland is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality team and ensure ISO 17025 and regulatory compliance across Microbiology and Chemistry labs.

You will drive audits, manage the eQMS, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and oversee change control, risk assessments, and annual QMS reviews to support continuous improvement. Strong communication and 5+ years in lab quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a scientific degree and possess analytical skills that can be used for problem solving.
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO 17025 accreditation requirements and the ability to drive change within Microbiology and Chemistry Laboratories.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience controlling and maintaining a Quality management System in a laboratory/technical environment.
• Internal auditing experience with the ability to manage non-conforming work and improvement.
• The ability to work on your own and manage projects to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the Food Industry and clients’ testing needs.
• Good computer literacy skills.
• High level of reporting and writing skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Passionate and motivated to take on board new challenges, and quick learner.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain ISO 17025 and site QMS on site.
• Lead corrective/preventive actions and audits within timelines.
• Coordinate external audits and report findings.
• Oversee change control and risk assessment processes.
• Organise Quality Management System Reviews annually and drive action plans.
• Support Laboratory Team in management of equipment records and calibration scheduling.
