Job summary

Vickerstock are recruiting for a Quality Manager in Athleague, Co. Roscommon to lead food safety, quality and compliance systems at a leading food manufacturing site.

You will manage the Food Safety Management System, maintain BRCGS standards, handle customer specifications, drive CAPA actions, audits and regulatory compliance while coordinating with external stakeholders and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality/technical role within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, GMP, TACCP and VACCP.
• Experience managing audits and dealing with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the site Food Safety Management System.
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS, customer, regulatory and food safety standards.
• Manage customer product specifications and specification systems.
• Support the development of new product specifications.
• Lead customer complaint investigations, RCA and CAPA.
• Manage internal and external non-conformances.
• Prepare for and support customer, regulatory and accreditation audits.
• Liaise with DAFM and other external stakeholders.
• Manage and support the site traceability programme.
• Monitor customer KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement across quality and food safety systems.
• Support and develop Technical and QC processes.

Vickerstock are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager on behalf of a leading food manufacturing business based in Athleague, Co. Roscommon.

This is a systems-focused role, responsible for maintaining and improving food safety, quality and compliance systems, ensuring the site remains compliant with customer, regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Role

• Manage and maintain the site Food Safety Management System
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS, customer, regulatory and food safety standards
• Manage customer product specifications and specification systems
• Support the development of new product specifications
• Lead customer complaint investigations, RCA and CAPA
• Manage internal and external non-conformances
• Prepare for and support customer, regulatory and accreditation audits

About You

• Previous experience in a similar Quality/Technical role within food manufacturing

• Experience managing audits and dealing with external stakeholders
• Strong understanding of EU food safety regulations

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
• Day shift
• Flexible start/finish times around 8:00am-8:30am
