Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Quality Graduate Engineer on a defined-term basis (23 months) to join our Clonmel team. You will learn from experienced colleagues and contribute to innovative medical technologies while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Depending on assignment area, you may support Operations, New Product Development or Sustaining Engineering, helping to achieve production goals across quality, cost and safety and advancing product design

Qualifications

• Honors Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in engineering or science.
• Graduated within the past two years or currently in the final year of university.
• Relevant work experience or completion of a co-op program.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with quality requirements.
• Assist in defining and implementing quality standards and specifications and help ensure corporate and regulatory requirements are met.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex exceptions to work assignments.
• Participate, as required, in new product and technology transfers to gain valuable experience and exposure.
• Apply knowledge of Six Sigma, statistical analysis and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality.
• Demonstrate familiarity with validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements, including the analysis of customer feedback and complaints.
• Understand and proactively support environmental management requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to support day-to-day operating requirements.
• Demonstrate best practices aligned with department and site objectives.
