Boston Scientific in Clonmel, Ireland is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Manufacturing Engineer on a defined-term basis (23 months) to join our team. Qualifications

• Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in engineering or science is essential.
• Graduated within the past two years or currently in the final year of university.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the initiative to contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Interest in medical technology, manufacturing, product development or continuous improvement.
• Enthusiastic, proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Build quality into all aspects of your work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
• Define and implement quality standards and specifications and help ensure corporate and regulatory requirements are met.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex exceptions to work assignments.
• Participate in new product and technology transfers to gain valuable experience.
• Apply Six Sigma, statistical analysis and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality.
• Demonstrate familiarity with validation techniques and regulatory requirements, including analysis of feedback and complaints.
• Understand and proactively support environmental management requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to support day-to-day operating requirements.
• Demonstrate best practices aligned with department and site objectives.
