Job summary

TechHeads in Ireland is seeking an experienced Software QA Analyst to join the Product & Engineering team. You will own software quality across new and existing features, performing manual functional testing and contributing to automation and AI-assisted testing initiatives.

The role involves collaborating with Developers, Product Managers, UX and QA colleagues in an Agile environment, driving QA practices, test data, and continuous improvements to delivery quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial experience in Software QA or functional testing.
• Strong experience testing web-based applications.
• Practical experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of databases and practical SQL skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar QA/product management platforms.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute comprehensive test cases and test data.
• Perform functional, feature and regression testing.
• Prioritise test coverage and contribute to regression and automation suites.
• Identify, investigate and clearly document software defects.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Refinement and Retrospectives.

About the Role
