Job summary

Astech Air Conditioning is looking for a skilled HVAC technician to maintain and repair a range of air conditioning systems in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, and Commercial environments. You will handle planned maintenance, respond to reactive calls, and diagnose faults on Split, VRV/VRF, CRAC, AHU, and chillers.

Applicants should be FGas certified, hold a Fetac HVAC qualification, and possess a full clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fetac HVAC qualification or equivalent is required.
• Experience carrying out planned maintenance and repairs.
• Able to diagnose faults and perform effective fault finding.
• Experience with branded air conditioning units (Splits, VRV/VRF, CRAC, AHU, Chillers).
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Commercial environments preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Attend reactive callouts and complete repairs.
• Ensure documentation and reports are accurate.

Be responsible for carrying out planned maintenances, attending re-active callouts and completing repairs

Have experience working on leading brands Air Conditioning units – Splits, VRV, VRF, CRAC units, AHU’s and Chillers

Have relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Commercial environments

Have knowledge of BMS and HVAC controls

Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with both customers and colleagues

Be organised with strong attention to detail

Have an aptitude for fault finding

Be self-motivated, with proven ability to work on your own initiative to achieve targets
