Job summary

ZuCar Cork in Little Island, Cork, is hiring a fully-qualified Motor Technician or Fitter to join our modern workshop.

You will diagnose faults with state-of-the-art Snap-On equipment, service and repair vehicles to high standards, and mentor apprentices. Applicants must hold a full Irish or EU driving licence and have EU passport or a work visa. Training is provided for EV/Hybrid techs.

Qualifications

• Fully-qualified Motor Technician or fitter required.
• Full Irish or EU driving licence; EU passport or full-time work visa required.
• Experience with modern vehicle technologies (EV/Hybrid) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults using state-of-the-art Snap-On diagnostic equipment and liaise with customers to understand problems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on vehicles to the highest standards and latest specifications.
• Carry out servicing, ensure safe working practices for self and others.
• Complete service documentation (job sheets, PDIs, reports) per ZuCar requirements.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and ensure tools are used correctly.
• Work with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and share best practices.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and apprentices.
