Job summary

Paramount Motors in Dublin 12 is seeking a confident and reliable Motor Technician to join our growing team. This role offers hands-on work diagnosing electronic and mechanical faults, and servicing a range of vehicles to a high standard.

You will work both independently and with colleagues, maintain a clean workshop, and document parts used and time taken. Prior experience with Ford, VW or Peugeot is desirable but not essential. On-site role at Unit F4, Ballymount Drive, Dublin 12.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with diagnostics, repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics, diagnose faults efficiently and accurately using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out servicing, routine maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles to a high standard e.g. oil changes, brake checks, tyre fitting etc.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components e.g. exhaust systems, timing belts, starters, alternators etc.
• Use initiative to identify and resolve vehicle issues effectively.
• Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to ensure timely job completion.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Ensure all work is documented, including parts used, time taken and any follow-up requirements.
