Leinster Property Maintenace in Wexford (also covering Wicklow, Kildare & Dublin) is recruiting a fully qualified electrician to join our team. This is a full-time role with commercial and domestic project work across Leinster.

You will perform first and second fix installations, IS 10101 testing, fault finding and planning materials. Essential: National Craft Certificate (QQI Level 6) or equivalent, 3+ years post-qualification, full driving licence and Safe Pass.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft Electrical or recognised equivalent.
• At least 3 years post-qualification experience in domestic or commercial settings.
• Confident in IS 10101 and certifying own work.

Based in Wexford, and also covering developments in Wicklow, Kildare & Dublin, our Property Maintenance business is currently recruiting a fully qualified electrician to join our team.

We provide property maintenance services to a large portfolio of clients throughout Leinster. The work consists of a variety Commercial and Domestic projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Project Manager/Foreman, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Installations first and second fix on residential & light commercial fitouts and refurbishments, including distribution boards, containment, power, and general and feature lighting.
• Systems emergency lighting, fire alarm interfaces, data cabling, CCTV and access control (gates/doors etc).
• Testing & Certification testing, inspecting and certifying your own work to I.S. 10101 (National Rules for Electrical Installations), and keeping the paperwork right.
• Maintenance & Fault-Finding planned maintenance, upgrades and reactive repairs across the business.
• Planning & Materials reading drawings, taking off materials, ordering what you need and planning your work so jobs finish on programme.
• Health & Safety working to site safety standards at all times.

ARE YOU:

• A fully qualified electrician, holding a National Craft Certificate (QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft Electrical) or a recognised equivalent. This is essential; we are not able to consider unqualified or part-qualified applicants.
• Experienced, with at least three years' post-qualification work behind you, ideally in domestic or commercial settings.
• Confident in your working knowledge of I.S. 10101 and comfortable certifying your own work.
• Holder of a full, clean driving licence (manual drive) and a valid Safe Pass, although refresher training can be arranged.
• Genuinely flexible, able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• A clear communicator who works well with other trades, contractors and clients.
• Further training is an advantage but not essential Testing & Verification or Qualified Certifier training, experience with solar, fire alarm, emergency lighting, data or CCTV systems, or Manual Handling, MEWP and Working at Heights tickets.

This is a full time role which is a typical Monday - Friday role, 39 hour working week with occasional overtime. Standard work day is 7:30am -4:00pm but may vary depending on site location.

Pay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
