Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a QC Systems Specialist to join our team on site in Cork, Ireland, to support eLIMS and Empower in a GMP environment. The role will focus on day-to-day system support, deployments, and standardising ways of working with QC teams and SMEs.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with eLIMS or Empower, knowledge of GMP/cGMP, and strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills to drive continuous improvement across QC laboratory processes.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience using eLIMS or Empower.
• Experience supporting Large Molecule eLIMS and iLAB deployments.
• Strong GMP/cGMP knowledge in regulated lab environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with investigations, CAPAs or change controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day eLIMS/Empower support to QC teams, including managing and resolution of system tickets.
• Troubleshoot laboratory system issues and support root cause investigations.
• Support investigations, CAPAs and change controls relating to laboratory systems and processes.
• Support Large Molecule eLIMS and iLAB deployments and system improvements.
• Collaborate with SMEs to standardise laboratory processes and methods.
• Represent the site on global teams focused on standardising iLAB builds and improving eLIMS ways of working.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across QC laboratory systems.
• Assist during regulatory, customer and internal audits as SME.
• Ensure activities comply with GMP and company procedures.
• Work with QC and cross-functional stakeholders to optimise system use and issue resolution.
