Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is offering an Internship in the QC Shared Services, QC Projects team to support the QC teams at its Multi-Product Cell Culture Drug Substance Facility. You will report to the QC Projects Senior Manager and assist with project activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

This internship provides six, nine or twelve months’ placement depending on your degree requirements, with hands-on training and exposure to experts in the field.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking a third level qualification (Degree) in Science or related discipline.
• Experience with basic laboratory practices (pipettes, balances, pH meters).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of working in a team and ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support the QC projects portfolio with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage projects including planning, tracking, communication and escalations as needed.
• Collaborate and support ongoing QC Projects activities.
• Assist in process improvements for onboarding, training plans and method-specific training.
• Support investigations, right-first-time and efficiency initiatives in QC teams.
• Assist with Lean labs and scheduling tool improvements to maximise operating efficiency.
