Bristol Myers Squibb UK & Ireland is offering a six to twelve month Internship Programme for a QC Microbiology Environmental Monitoring Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in data entry, QC investigations, process improvements, and environmental monitoring in classified areas while contributing to lean lab practices.

The role provides real exposure to quality control activities and a chance to develop skills within a global biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Biotechnology, Microbiology, Science / Biology, Chemistry or related discipline of study.
• Passionate about the biopharma sector and innovation in healthcare.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Data entry in laboratory systems (LIMS/MODA/LES).
• Support QC Investigations and change controls.
• Participate in OpEx strategy and process improvements.
• Prepare and process QC documentation in quality management systems.
• Perform Environmental Monitoring in Classified Areas (and related sampling).
• Issuance, receipt, and testing of biological indicators.
• Reading and reporting environmental monitoring results.
• Ensuring adherence to lean lab and 6S practices.
