Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb invites applications for an Internship in the QC Materials and QC Raw Materials teams to support QC activities at the Multi-Product Cell Culture Drug Substance Facility. The role focuses on hands-on laboratory work, documentation, and collaboration within a regulated environment.

The internship offers six, nine, or twelve-month placements, enabling practical experience and exposure to standard operating procedures and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking a third level qualification (Degree) in Science or related discipline.
• Experience with basic laboratory practices, such as use of pipettes, balances and pH meters.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of working as part of a team and ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Performing QC testing (TOC, pH Conductivity) of water samples.
• Perform analysis of Raw Materials using wet chemistry techniques.
• Complete laboratory documentation in a timely and accurate manner as directed by the QC Material Management Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and Registered Specifications.
• Assist in authoring and reviewing documentation, including SOPs.
• Batch paperwork review and reconciliation of analysis performed in laboratory; investigate out of specification results.
• Assist with out of specification investigations and deviations using the Infinity system.
• Sample management activities and maintain chain of custody using CIMS and LIMS.
• Stay abreast of current corporate and industry requirements and compliance trends in laboratory operations and aseptic manufacturing.
• Perform any other activities as indicated by the Lab Supervisor.
