Freudenberg Medical Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Purchasing/Supply Chain Specialist to manage material orders, raise POs and coordinate customs activities. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to maintain supply continuity and improve processes.

Responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, supporting inventory management, and contributing to cost reduction initiatives. A third-level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline is desirable, with strong Excel and MS

Qualifications

• Experience within purchasing, supply chain, customs, logistics or a related environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and colleagues across different functions.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Experience implementing or supporting new policies, procedures or process improvements.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA QMSR requirements would be an advantage.
• Experience working with customs data or knowledge of customs legislation is desirable but not essential.
• A third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain relevant reports, metrics and supply chain KPIs.
• Support inventory management and optimise stock levels.
• Contribute to cost review and cost reduction initiatives across purchased materials.
• Support the implementation of new purchasing and supply chain policies, procedures and process improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities across OH&S, Environmental and Energy Management systems.
