Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a experienced procurement lead for its Technology & Transformation Supply Chain practice in Ireland. You will develop category strategies for government and public sector clients, drive end-to-end procurement and contracting, and manage relationships with senior client executives and sponsors.

Hybrid Dublin or Cork based, with flexible client-site arrangements. You will influence senior stakeholders, mentor teams, and contribute to growth of the Supply Chain consulting

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in government and public sector procurement under EU rules.
• Proven expertise in category management and sourcing strategy from conception to execution.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and ability to manage complex contract discussions.
• Demonstrated leadership including client relationship management, mentoring and BD initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies for government/public sector clients.
• Lead end-to-end procurement and contracting delivery including supplier management.
• Manage relationships with senior client executives and project sponsors; drive steering committees.
• Track risks, issues, budgets, and resources using MS Project and advanced Excel models.
• Lead and mentor Deloitte teams and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Support business development and growth of the Supply Chain practice.
• Collaborate with Irish and global teams to tailor offerings for the Irish market.

We offer a competitive starting salary of €75,000.00 for this role, with salary adjustments reflecting your experience level and expertise.

• Developing and implementing category and procurement strategies tailored to government and public sector clients.
• Leading end-to-end procurement and contracting delivery, including supplier management and contract transition.
• Managing relationships with senior client executives and project sponsors, facilitating steering committee engagements.
• Overseeing project delivery, tracking risks, issues, budgets, and resources using tools such as MS Project and advanced Excel models.
• Leading and mentoring Deloitte teams, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Supporting business development efforts and contributing to the growth of the Supply Chain consulting practice.
• Collaborating with Irish and global Deloitte teams to tailor government and public sector offerings for the Irish market.
• Addressing complex business challenges by integrating capabilities across Technology, AI & Data, Human Capital, Strategy & Transactions, and Tax & Legal.
