Job summary

Deloitte Ireland LLP is seeking a leader for its Government and Public Sector procurement practice within the Technology & Transformation team. You will develop category strategies, lead end-to-end procurement and contracting for high-profile public sector engagements, and manage relationships with senior client executives and project sponsors.

You will guide Deloitte teams, drive business development, and collaborate with Irish and global colleagues to tailor offerings for the Irish market,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in government and public sector procurement under EU rules.
• Proven expertise in category management and sourcing strategy from concept to practice.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and complex contract discussions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing category and procurement strategies for government/public sector clients.
• Leading end-to-end procurement and contracting delivery, including supplier management and transition.
• Managing relationships with senior client executives and project sponsors, guiding steering committees.
• Overseeing project delivery, tracking risks, issues, budgets and resources with MS Project and advanced Excel models.
• Leading and mentoring Deloitte teams and supporting business development within Supply Chain.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including client relationship management, team mentoring, and driving business development initiatives.

• Leading and mentoring Deloitte teams, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Supporting business development efforts and contributing to the growth of the Supply Chain consulting practice.
• Collaborating Irish and global Deloitte teams to tailor government and public sector offerings for the Irish market.
• Addressing complex business challenges by integrating capabilities across Technology, AI & Data, Human Capital, Strategy & Transactions, and Tax & Legal.
