Job summary

Deloitte Ireland LLP is seeking a Supply Chain consultant to support government and public sector procurement transformations. You will help develop category and procurement strategies, manage end-to-end procurement delivery, and build strong client relationships across Irish and global teams.

The role offers hybrid working between Dublin and client sites with a focus on impactful public sector transformations and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A third-level qualification or equivalent professional certification in Business, Strategy, Supply Chain, Technology, or related field.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or supplier management, ideally within government or public sector environments.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
• Demonstrated adaptability and creativity in problem-solving, combined with initiative and sound business judgement.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to develop and implement category and procurement strategies tailored to their organisational needs.
• Provide end-to-end support in procurement and contracting delivery, including optimisation of strategic supplier relationships.
• Build and nurture trusted partnerships with existing and new clients.
• Develop practical, client-focused solutions and methodologies that exceed expectations.
• Collaborate within Deloitte teams to share knowledge, mentor junior staff, and support professional development.
• Contribute to business development activities and internal initiatives to grow the Supply Chain consulting practice.
• Work closely with Irish and global Deloitte teams to adapt government and public sector offerings for the Irish market.
• Navigate challenges faced by public sector organisations and help clients address these effectively.

We offer a competitive starting salary of €45,000.00 for this role, with salary adjustments reflecting your experience level and expertise.
