Job summary

Deloitte Ireland LLP is seeking an SAP Finance Consultant to lead design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA finance transformations for local and international clients. You will guide workshops, shape finance processes, and advise on roadmaps while collaborating across Deloitte teams.

The role offers hybrid working between Dublin or Cork and emphasizes growth, leadership, and delivering high‑quality outcomes in complex deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience as an SAP Finance Consultant on at least two full-cycle implementations.
• Ability to lead design workshops and build trusted client relationships.
• Practical knowledge of Management Accounting, Project Systems, Group Reporting, FSCM, PaPM, FP&A in SAC or ICMR.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is welcome.
• Consulting judgement with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

SAP S/4HANA delivery: Experience as an SAP Finance Consultant on at least two full-cycle implementations, from preparation through hypercare.

Client leadership: The ability to lead design workshops, advise on finance processes and build trusted client relationships.

Finance expertise: Practical knowledge of areas such as Management Accounting, Project Systems, Group Reporting, FSCM, PaPM, RAR/EBRR, FP&A in SAC or ICMR.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience is particularly welcome.

Consulting judgement: Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

An accounting qualification or experience applying AI to project delivery would be an advantage, but is not essential.

What type of work will I be doing?

Design end-to-end finance processes for SAP S/4HANA implementations, including greenfield projects, brownfield conversions and selective transformations.

Lead client workshops to understand requirements and guide decisions using implementation and industry experience.

Advise clients on finance transformation options, SAP roadmaps and expected benefits.

Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and Deloitte member firms on client projects.

Help plan and manage project delivery to agreed timelines and budgets.

Build strong client relationships and contribute to proposals and follow‑on opportunities.

Share specialist knowledge and leading practices to help develop Deloitte’s SAP practice.

We are open to applications for either our Dublin or Cork location and offer a flexible working model that includes hybrid arrangements between office and client sites.
