Job summary

International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Ireland seeks a Caseworker – Protection to support Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP) nationwide. You will conduct individualised casework, perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate with State Accommodation Centres and external partners.

You will draft reports, manage information, provide translation where needed and help implement the programme protection strategy in a challenging, multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience, or high school with five years' experience.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees or vulnerable groups is preferred.
• Prior experience with international humanitarian organisations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring project activities.
• Perform vulnerability screenings of Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection.
• Provide translation/interpretation services as needed.
• Draft reports, briefing notes and project documentation.
• Coordinate with State Accommodation Centres and partners.
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting for the programme.
• Maintain records and organise meetings and training sessions.
• Report non-compliances and assist in safeguarding the protection strategy.
