Job summary

International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Ireland seeks a proactive professional to support BOTPs integration across Ireland. You will promote access to support services, language provision, and individualized assistance, coordinating with local authorities, UN agencies, and partners to ensure timely delivery of services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with diverse teams, data gathering, and reporting, with responsibilities spanning rollout of the integration strategy and direct case

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with additional Ukrainian and Russian language skills as specified.
  • Experience with migrants, refugees, and vulnerable groups.
  • Previous work with international humanitarian organizations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring project activities.
  • Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific project topics.
  • Support the Senior Integration Associate with the development and implementation of the integration strategy through research and additional support as required.
  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments of BOTPs prior to intensive interventions, ensuring they receive essential information for informed decision-making.
  • Maintain coordination with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions, etc.
  • Disseminate key and accurate information to BOTPs. Ensure cases with vulnerabilities identified have been referred as necessary. Provide translation and interpretation services as necessary.
  • Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery, bring them to the attention of the supervisor and suggest remedial actions.
  • Draft correspondence on project issues; prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentation and other forms of documentation.
  • Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records; organize meetings, workshops and training sessions;
  • Participate in meetings and conferences; assist in coordinating implementation activities with local authorities, partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the project.
  • Assist in monitoring work of implementing partners and report non-compliances to the supervisor.
  • Provides guidance/training to new/junior staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
