Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Property Claims Handler (Pre-Litigation) for a well-established Dublin-based organisation. You will manage a portfolio of property and mixed claims in a collaborative pre-litigation environment.

The role involves shaping claims strategies, working with loss adjusters, brokers and stakeholders to drive investigations toward cost-effective outcomes, and leading negotiations while supporting fraud prevention and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven general insurance claims handling experience, ideally with property claims and knowledge of PL, EL, and Motor.
• Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective resolution within a regulated, pre-litigation environment.
• Shape claims strategies, work with loss adjusters, brokers and stakeholders, drive investigations towards cost-effective outcomes.
• Lead negotiations, contribute to arbitrations, support fraud prevention, and maintain high standards of compliance and customer service.
• Contribute to team improvement initiatives and portfolio management.
