Job summary

Coffey is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Ireland. You will own end-to-end commercial oversight on water sector infrastructure projects, with regular site visits and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will manage budgets, subcontractors, cost control, forecasting and contract administration, delivering clear financial reporting to the Commercial Lead. Degree in Quantity Surveying and 4+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years' experience in civil engineering or commercial building construction.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure or design-build projects.
• Strong cost, financial and commercial management skills.
• Knowledge of main contract conditions and subcontract administration.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SCSI Chartered or working towards Chartership is desirable.
• Experience with Candy and/or IFS is advantageous.
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
• Authorized to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or similar).

Join our commercial team supporting two upcoming Water sector projects in Enfield, Co. Meath and Staleen, Co. Louth. This Project Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to take ownership of commercial and financial performance on complex infrastructure projects, working closely with an experienced wider commercial team.

About the role

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Commercial Lead and provide end-to-end commercial and financial oversight. You will manage subcontractors, cost control, forecasting, reporting and contract administration, helping to protect project value and commercial performance.
