Job summary

Coffey in Ireland is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support water sector projects and contribute to complex, high-value construction work within a leading civil engineering contractor’s commercial team.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage budgets, procurement, and financial reporting, ensuring commercial success and profitable project delivery across your assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• 7+ years' experience in civil engineering or large-scale construction.
• Strong commercial, financial and analytical abilities including cost estimation and cost control.
• Knowledge of Main Contract Conditions and contract administration.
• Experience with Candy Estimating System and IFS is desirable.
• SCSI Chartered status or working towards Chartership is desirable, not essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.

The Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Commercial Manager and take responsibility for commercial and financial management across your project. You will manage subcontractors, monitor costs, deliver accurate financial reporting and help ensure commercial success.
