Job summary

PSC Biotech Corporation in Limerick, Ireland seeks a Project Equipment Lead to coordinate on-site equipment projects for a 12-month contract. The role requires a civil/ mechanical/ chemical engineering background and 5+ years of experience managing large CAPEX projects in the biopharma or life sciences sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale CAPEX projects, ideally in biopharma or life sciences.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary equipment teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources for equipment design, FAT, commissioning and qualification.
• Oversee design, FAT, commissioning and qualification phases, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Maintain safety and quality focus throughout the project lifecycle, including CE assessment and safety clearance of equipment.
• Track milestones and ensure timely delivery across all phases.
• Prepare and present regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage shipping and delivery of major equipment onsite and coordinate with vendors.
• Lead installation schedules and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure effective communication between engineering, procurement, and QA across functions.
• Mentor and guide project teams to meet objectives and timelines.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but arenot limited to, the following:

Project Planning, Execution & Monitoring

• Engages and manages external vendors and drivesresolutions

Stakeholder Management

Ensure effective communication and collaboration betweencross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and qualityassurance.

• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary equipment teams,ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team.

Regulatory Compliance

• Maintains company reputation by enforcing compliance withall relevant laws, policies and regulations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies toensure project success.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and update stakeholderson potential issues.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical,Chemical, or related field), Project Management, or a related discipline.
