You will act as the key link between business stakeholders, Business Analysts and AI & Automation delivery teams, ensuring that work is clearly planned, prioritised, tracked and delivered. You will work within the AI & Automation Factory operating model and the governance frameworks and delivery standards defined at programme level.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Project and Agile Delivery
  • Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of assigned automation and intelligent automation projects, typically through short delivery cycles and small cross‑functional teams.
  • Plan and coordinate delivery from project initiation through implementation, adoption and transition into support.
  • Act as Scrum Master for assigned initiatives, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Work with Business Analysts, technical teams and business owners to maintain clear priorities, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and actions.
  • Identify and help remove delivery blockers, escalating matters through the appropriate programme‑level channels where required.
  • Use Agile methodology pragmatically, adapting delivery practices to the needs, scale and maturity of each initiative.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination
  • Build trusted working relationships with business leaders, operational teams, process owners and technical delivery colleagues.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, aligned expectations and timely decisions.
  • Act as the primary day‑to‑day point of coordination between business stakeholders, Business Analysts and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, project meetings and other collaborative activities.
  • Communicate delivery status, emerging risks, dependencies and decisions clearly to stakeholders and programme leadership.
  • Business Case Delivery and Benefits Tracking
  • Keep project delivery aligned with the agreed business case, scope and intended outcomes.
  • Work with business owners and Business Analysts to define measurable benefits and maintain appropriate benefit‑tracking arrangements.
  • Monitor progress towards expected outcomes and support post‑implementation reviews and benefits reporting.
  • Escalate material changes that may affect scope, timescales, delivery feasibility or expected benefits.
  • Delivery Governance and Reporting
  • Operate within the governance frameworks, delivery standards and decision‑making structures established at programme level.
  • Maintain accurate project plans, delivery updates, risks, issues, dependencies, actions and decisions.
  • Provide clear, timely project‑level information to support programme reporting and governance forums.
  • Use Azure DevOps, Jira or agreed delivery tools to support backlog management, sprint planning, delivery tracking and reporting.
  • Support clear and accessible project documentation in Confluence or other agreed collaboration tools.
  • Adoption and Continuous Improvement
  • Coordinate with business owners and relevant change or adoption colleagues to support readiness, implementation and adoption.
  • Capture lessons learned and use retrospectives to improve team ways of working and delivery effectiveness.
  • Where relevant, apply continuous improvement principles to support practical process and delivery improvements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation and coordination skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain alignment across business and technical teams.
  • Strong project delivery capability, with practical experience managing plans, priorities, risks, issues, dependencies and actions.
  • Experience running Agile ceremonies and supporting teams to deliver through iterative delivery cycles.
  • Good technical awareness and the ability to engage confidently with both business stakeholders and technical specialists.
  • A practical understanding of AI, automation and digital technologies; direct platform expertise is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Adaptable, collaborative and focused on achieving measurable business outcomes.
