Job summary

Flex is seeking a Project Manager for Dundalk, Ireland, to deliver complex projects from initiation to closure, coordinating across teams and stakeholders. The role involves working hybridly with a focus on electrical principles, power distribution, and meeting budgets and timelines.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proficient in English, with experience in switchgear or modular solutions and a PM certification being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.
• Able to work accurately to deadlines in busy, pressurised environments; demonstrates flexibility and basic electrical principle understanding.
• Proficient in English to lead advanced technical discussions with international teams.
• Demonstrate Flex Ways of Working.
• Be technically competent with various software programs, including Microsoft Office and SmartSheet.
• Demonstrated experience in switchgear/Busbar/Modular solutions is desirable.
• Project Management certification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects to specification, on time, on schedule, and within budget, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Manage multiple projects with full ownership and responsibility.
• Implement and manage project changes within required timescales and cost restrictions.
• Monitor and report on project progress against plans; intervene to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and communicate effective solutions to meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored properly.
• Handle monthly applications and invoicing with the finance team and prepare final accounts.
