Job summary

Shareridge, a leading Irish civil engineering company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a utilities and public realm construction project in Tralee, County Kerry. You will manage on-site operations, ensure safety, quality and environmental standards, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and to budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a similar role, familiarity with Public Works Contracts is a plus, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in utilities/public realm projects preferred.
• Knowledge of Public Works Contracts (PWC) is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Proven project management and IT abilities.
• Experience managing client relationships from project initiation through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site operations, ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance
• Manage and coordinate all site activities to meet project timelines and contractual requirements
• Oversee commercial and operational aspects of daily site activities
• Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and delivery
• Manage direct labour and subcontractor teams
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary project team including engineering, commercial, planning, and HSQE personnel
• Oversee material procurement and supply chain coordination
