Job summary

Shareridge is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a utilities and public realm construction project in Tralee, County Kerry. The role requires leadership, clear communication, and hands-on management of site activities, teams, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in similar roles, knowledge of PWC, strong IT skills, and a proven track record in delivering projects from initiation to completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally in utilities and/or public realm projects.
• Knowledge of Public Works Contracts (PWC) is an advantage.
• Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Strong project management and IT skills.
• Experience managing client relationships from project initiation through to completion.
• Effective at resolving challenges and negotiating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site operations, ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance
• Manage and coordinate all site activities to meet project timelines and contractual requirements
• Oversee commercial and operational aspects of daily site activities
• Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and delivery
• Manage direct labour and subcontractor teams
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary project team including engineering, commercial, planning, and HSQE personnel
• Oversee material procurement and supply chain coordination
