GP Joule EPC Ireland Ltd. in Leixlip, Ireland, seeks a Project Manager to lead energy projects from tender to client handover. The role requires self-motivation, resourcefulness and the ability to work across procurement, logistics and construction in a dynamic start-up environment.

The successful candidate will manage projects across multiple functions in a hands-on role, with a hybrid work model and a competitive salary plus bonus and generous leave.

Formación

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years’ professional experience in project management of large-scale infrastructure works in renewable energy, power, or civil engineering.
• Familiarity with contract forms (FIDIC) and PM frameworks (PMBOK/PRINCE2/Agile).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all phases of the project life cycle from contract award to handover.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors and liaise with procurement/engineering teams.
• Manage contracts, changes, and claims to protect project integrity.
• Direct external partners to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality, with close monitoring of costs and cash flows.
• Prepare and present progress reports to Country Manager and senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with experience as a Cost Engineer or QS (knowledge of CESSIM or similar desirable).
• At least 3 years’ professional experience in project management of large-scale infrastructure works within the renewable energy / power or civil engineering sectors, ideally including Solar PV and/or wind projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and standard forms (e.g., FIDIC) and familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and achieve positive outcomes.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana) and the MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability, combining a structured yet flexible approach with high self-motivation, and adaptability to take on multiple responsibilities in a dynamic start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of the project life cycle, from contract award through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring seamless execution and completion.
• Serve as the central point of contact and coordinator for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, while liaising effectively with internal procurement and engineering teams.
• Manage and process contracts diligently, encompassing changes, claims, and ensuring compliance with contract terms to safeguard project integrity.
• Direct management of external partners to ensure timely delivery of components and services, aligning with project objectives.
• Oversee and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, with close monitoring of costs and cash flows to maintain financial health.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, providing insights to the Country Manager and senior management on project developments and milestones.
