Redline Group Ltd in Dundalk, Ireland, is seeking a Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of automation and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover. You will manage scope, budgets and schedules, drive risk mitigation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Automation, Electrical, Mechanical and Software engineering.

A full driving licence and a degree in Engineering are required.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years' project management experience within an engineering environment.
• Proven track record delivering engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience in automation, controls, robotics, machinery or industrial engineering projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgets, costs and cash flow.
• Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage multiple engineering and automation projects from initiation to handover.

• Develop and implement project management processes and validation docs.

• Mentor Junior and Intermediate Project Managers.

• Negotiate with suppliers to maintain profitability and targets.
• Develop schedules, resource plans and milestones.
• Coordinate concurrent projects and priorities.
• Carry out risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee procurement and purchasing throughout lifecycles.
• Manage commissioning, start-up and customer acceptance.
• Drive continuous improvement for efficient delivery.

Our client, a fast-growing provider of industrial automation, robotics and advanced engineering solutions, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is based in Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland and offers the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge automation and engineering projects across a range of industries. You will be responsible for managing projects from concept through to commissioning and customer handover, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities of the Project Manager job based in Dundalk, Co. Louth:

• Manage multiple engineering and automation projects from initiation through to completion and customer handover.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement project management processes, procedures and validation documentation.
• Take ownership of project scope, costs, schedules, risks and overall project delivery.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and develop project scope and budgets.
• Produce project cost estimates, business cases and project proposals for approval.
• Lead and support multidisciplinary engineering teams including Automation, Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineers.
• Mentor and support Junior and Intermediate Project Managers across the business.
• Manage project expenditure, budget control and cash flow performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to maintain project profitability and delivery targets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Carry out project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support procurement planning and oversee purchasing activities throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage commissioning, start-up and customer acceptance activities.
• Coordinate project warranty support and post-installation engineering activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for more efficient project delivery.

Experience required for the Project Manager job based in Dundalk, Co. Louth:

• Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience within an engineering environment.
• Proven track record of delivering engineering projects from initiation through to completion.
• Experience managing automation, controls, robotics, machinery or industrial engineering projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and external contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, costs and cash flow.
• Demonstrable ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.
• Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
• Experience managing project risks and implementing mitigation plans.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or hold a qualification with relevant industry experience.

Desirable experience:

• Automation and control systems project experience.
• Robotics or special-purpose machinery project exposure.
• Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience.
• Knowledge of GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience delivering turnkey automation or systems integration projects.
• Background within industrial automation, manufacturing automation or process industries.
• Experience working for an automation house, systems integrator, machine builder or engineering project organisation.
