Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking a Project Manager with 5-8 years of experience to join its prestigious consultancy. You will work on large scale Transport projects, liaising with clients and the design team, while managing a multi-disciplinary team.

The role offers excellent benefits including a salary of €65k – €70k+, 25 annual leave days, and opportunities for career progression. Ideal candidates will have an Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and experience in delivering Civil/Structural projects.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Experience in design and delivery of Civil/Structural projects.
• Experience with Rail Projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with design team on Transport Projects.

Project Manager with 5-8 years’ experience needed to join a highly respected, award-winning international multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices in Galway, Dublin, Dundalk and Cork. This role will involve working on large scale projects and comes with excellent career progression opportunities. The successful Project Manager will also be involved in the design and delivery of large scale Transport projects.

Duties

• The successful Project Manager will liaise with the design team and work on large scale Transport Projects across Ireland.
• As a Project Manager you will be involved in monthly progress meetings with client and contractors.
• As Project Manager you will have the opportunity to manage a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Maintaining accurate records of all process steps.
• Liaising with clients, and other stakeholders and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the project requirements.

Requirements

• Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• The successful Project Manager should have 5-8 years’ experience working within an engineering consultancy and experience in the design and delivery Civil/Structural projects.
• Experience working on Rail Projects would be an advantage.
• The successful Project Manager will be experienced in communicating effectively and have the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems is essential.
