Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Project Lead for a high-profile Data Centre project in North West Dublin. You will report to the Project Director and are responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, 10 years of experience, and strong commercial awareness with solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience on Data Centre projects preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and project financial management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, budget, and schedule from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client meetings to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor milestones, procurement, and equipment schedules to prevent delays and maintain progress.
• Review construction proposals, cost estimates, invoices, and payment applications for accuracy and compliance.
• Support design-build decisions, project controls, and client handover including close-out documentation and warranties.

Project Lead

Project Lead required to join one of Ireland’s largest Tier 1 Main Contractors to work on a Data Centre project in North West Dublin.The Project Lead will report into the Project Director for the and will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, budget, and schedule from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client meetings to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor milestones, procurement, and equipment schedules to prevent delays and maintain progress.
• Review construction proposals, cost estimates, invoices, and payment applications for accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10 Years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
• Excellent commercial awareness and project financial management.
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office Packages.
